The Commercial & Industrial Division markets electrical equipment primarily to electrical distributors. The equipment is used by industrial contractors, commercial contractors, or OEM customers.

Throughout over 35 years of service to the electrical industry, Whitehead & Associates has developed a particularly unique blend of expertise to use in serving our customers. Drawing on our experience serving the power utility industry, early in our history we began expanding our product lines to better serve the evolving commercial and industrial development in our service territory. This effort was aided by the evolutionary changes that took place with some of our manufactures as they too, saw the need to offer a broader range of product to serve a growing and changing market.

Realizing that there is no single channel to the end user of any product, we have sales professionals that have many years of experience working closely with consulting engineering firms, electrical distributors, contractors and power users. This multifaceted experience has become more important in recent years as many large commercial and institutional users have begun to build systems that, to a large degree, mimic typical utility distribution systems.

We can provide assistance with a wide variety of products from basics, such as conduit and connectors, to low/medium-voltage UPS systems and high-voltage substation equipment. Our lighting group is well versed on lighting applications and can assist in selection of the appropriate styles and performance to meet your needs. Should your project require utility substation or distribution style products, our utility group is always available to assist in assuring that the best possible combination of products that we have available will be provided.
